Pippin
Music & Lyrics by Stephen Schwartz
Book by Roger O. Hirson
Directed and Choreographed by Ginger Morris
Pippin is the musical tale of a young man as he journeys to discover the secret of true happiness and fulfillment. Narrated by a charismatic Leading Player, we follow Pippin’s path through the glories of battlefield, worldly temptations and the intrigues of political power. With a tuneful score by Broadway great Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Children of Eden), Pippin has proven to be a timeless tale that has touched audiences since its premiere in 1972, thanks in no small part to such memorable songs as “Corner of the Sky,” “Simple Joys,” “Extraordinary” & “Magic To Do.”
